The IXIA LMOC48c Load Module supports 1 port Singlemode - 2.488 Gbps, OC-48c optical fiber (SONET STS-48c or SDH STM-16), and implements Point-to-Point Protocol (PPP) over the SONET/SDH specification to RFC 1619/1662, with the addition of 1+X43 payload scrambling, as well as Cisco's HDLC encapsulation of IP packets. With up to 256 packet streams per port, the IXIA LMOC48c Load Module offers unparalleled traffic generation capabilities.
